The theme of the contest is "Winter Is Magic"
It is November.... and until the end of January, winter is now upon us. That may mean snow for some or sunshine for others, but whatever it may be, we all have our favourite things we love about this season.
Winter seems to bring a magic with it and we want to know what magic it brings for you.
Magic means something different to us all, so be creative!
HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF WINTER ART/PHOTOGRAPHY IN MY OPINION,CLOSELY REALATED TO OUR THEME....HOPE THEY HELP INSPIRE YOU...I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE YOUR ENTRIES!!
Start date - November 6, 2009
End date - January 31st, 2010
Contest will be held till January 31st @ 12:00 midnight that night.
All submissions should be entered by then...
To submit - just note me with a thumb of your entry and title the note "contest entry" AND THE CATEGORY!
CATEGORIES ARE
digital art (painting/manips/mixed media/fractals/3-d/drawings...etc.)
traditional art (drawing/painting)
literary art (poems/stories/prose + visual poetry)
photography (original photos taken by you)
RULES ARE
- ALL ENTRIES MUST BE CREATED FOR THIS CONTEST..NO PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED DEVIATIONS ON DA ALLOWED...
- If you use stock photos, you MUST link back to the owner of the stock as Copyright material is NOT allowed...
- 2 entries allowed per person...
- Absolutely NO graphic nudity, gore, violence, or sexual themes will be tolerated or accepted.
-for the literary category poetry..no more than 250 words...no more than 4 stanzas for prose...please, no obscene or explicit content!
